Symphony847

REIMAGINING THE SYMPHONY EXPERIENCE — Founded in 2020 by a collective of Chicago North Shore musicians, Symphony847 champions orchestral excellence through innovation and community engagement.

OUR MISSION — We bring new life to orchestral music with a vibrant mix of cherished classics, contemporary works, chamber repertoire, and bold commissions—crafted for today’s audiences. Our flexible ensemble adapts to each musical moment, while our musician-led model ensures every performance is rooted in artistry and collaboration.

WHAT WE DO

• Program with purpose — From symphonic masterpieces to new works by local talent.

• Take music out of the hall — Outreach concerts in parks, schools, and unexpected venues.

• Cultivate creative voices — Internships, partnerships, and collaborations that invest in the future.

OUR VALUES

• Artistry & Collaboration — Every member contributes to our excellence on and off stage.

• Innovation & Accessibility — Flexible formats and authentic engagement.

• Community & Inclusion — Building bridges through music.
