Our Town by Thornton Wilder is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play about the lives of two families in a small New Hampshire town over 12 years. The play explores themes of love, death, and the importance of living in the present.
Cycle of life: Our Town focuses on the cycle of life for George and Emily. They experience childhood, marriage, responsibility, birth, and death. The play also hints at others who have gone through the same cycles before them, such as when their parents reflect on their wedding days.
