Confluence Exhibition - Closing

This show brings together work from two Nigerian artists with wildly disparate backgrounds: Agbabiaka Johnmark and Adekunle Mayowa. This show also joins Nigeria with Chicago in a demonstration of art creating conversations that span borders. Special things happen when stories and ideas flow. We hope Confluence inspires reflection, understanding, and reminds people that despite our different origins and our different “streams,” when we converge, we become stronger. Both artists have shown works at ShadowBoxX before, (along with other Nigerian artists) in the Gallery’s ESSENCE Exhibition.
